You Only Live Once
(well, at least in this version)
Trips with family and friends is such a highpoint in life for me!

No matter whether we are planning a Staycation at a nearby Boutique Hotel, or planning a month-long international expedition—I am ready to Play Hard! I once drove an extra 11 hours on vacation to get a cheeseburger for my son (and me of course)!!!

Yes!!!
A Cheeseburger.

Now, I stopped eating red meat in 1994. I have no desire to eat red meat-anything, but THIS CHEESEBURGER, is not just any Cheeseburger. It’s a succulent, flavorful, appetizingly edible bite of Heaven-in-Your-Mouth kind of Cheeseburger! And to top it off—a Chocolate Shake—not a milksh
ake, but a chocolate bliss created only for the Few-Worthy-Souls-Capable-Of-Comprehension, kind of Chocolate Shake. Because of that trip, my then 9-year old son reminded me that life is too short to say, “Maybe next time.”

I now choose to honor each day as though it is my last. And sometimes the best teachable moments from Source Energy are when we go with flow—with a Cheeseburger and Chocolate Shake in hand!!!

Enjoy the Journey!!!

I love Shoes!

Beautiful High Heels make my heart smile!!!

I can shop for shoes every day. In fact, I often do—not because of an uncontrollable addiction to shopping, but because my feet are a size 11.

1…2…3…4…5…yep, still counting…6…7…8…9…10…almost there…ELEVEN! (Did she say 11!?!?)

Yes, 11!!! And shoe makers think there are only 3 women in America with big feet! W-R-O-N-G...because each and every time I find the most tantalizing pair of shoes to adorn my feet, "Size Not Available." But that’s not the case with Flip-Flops. For some reason, the shoe-gods smile upon me when purchasing those and I always have a pair nearby. Why?

Because I never want to miss a moment!!!

All of those pretty embellishments that designers want to call shoes can sometimes hurt, similar to events in life. But if I have a backup pair of flip-flops to slide right into, I never miss a beat! Those flip flops may not be a perfect match to the outfit in my mind, but they feel good and keep me moving in the right direction.

Life has a tendency to guide our journey in a similar way. Our path may not be the way we imagined it, but when we ride the waves of life we can still arrive timely to our destination. So, go grab a pair of flip-flops and enjoy the ride!!!
